Comedy and curry tickets are a very tasty prospect
THIS is your chance to win a pair of tickets to a rib-tickling, belly-busting comedy and curry night in Sherburn.
The fund-raising Sherburn Comedy and Curry Night will feature a trio of top comedians and a selection of delightfully tasty curries.
Cash raised on the night will be donated to Sherburn Hungate Primary School, Athelstan Primary School and Peter Pan Nursery.
Tickets have just gone on sale for the first-ever Sherburn Comedy and Curry Night, which will be at the Eversley Park Centre on October 6 between 6.30pm and 11pm.
Stuart Haskell, who has organised the event alongside his wife Debra, said: “This fast growing form of entertainment guarantees a superb night out, with well-known northern comedian Silky hosting acts such as the hilarious Australian comic Benny Boot, while headlining will be David Hadingham. These comics regularly appear throughout the UK comedy circuit and on television. A selection of curries will be available supplied by the excellent Saffron restaurant in Sherburn.” Tickets for the event, which is at the Eversley Park Centre on October 6 between 6.30pm and 11pm, are on sale now. Priced £20, they include both the comedy and the curry. To get tickets call 01977 681679, email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit the Sherburn Comedy and Curry Night Facebook page.
The event is being sponsored by Wincanton in Sherburn and Saffron.
