A DANCING musical extravaganza is promised from Goole’s Butterfly Dance Studios members, who stage their annual show at Hull City Hall on February 18.
If you believe in fairy tales then you will love the show, entitled Ever Ever After, as it features snatches from some of the all-time favourites, including Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Peter Pan, Rapunzel and Snow White.
But don’t expect just the usual fairytale music – these stories have a twist in the ‘tale’, made obvious by the list of tracks used in the show. This includes Marry You by Bruno Mars, Moves like Jagger by Maroon 5 and Edge of Glory by Lady GaGa, to give just a taster.
Teacher, Jennifer Rudge, says: “There is sure to be something to suit everyone’s taste with funky street dance, disco, Latin American, ballet, tap, jazz, gym dance and singing.”
Tickets for the 3pm or 7.30pm performances, are available from Butterfly Dance Studios in Carlisle Street, Goole, on 01405 780626, or direct from Hull City Hall, on 01482 226655. Transport is available if required.
