Snappers rock on in new video shoot

TWO snappers from Selby area have become top rock video makers after landing a gig as cameramen on the new video shoot by punk rocker Stevie ZeSuicide,..

Harvey Brewster from Camblesforth and Peter Purnell from Scott Road have been photographers for many years and have have both have had photos featured in these pages.

ZeSuicide, the former UK Subs drummer, was filming the vid for his new single Yeah, Yeah – out now on Noize Revolution Records – and asked the two locals if they would film the visual accompaniment for his next three singles.

The filming is now complete, with Harvey and Peter acting as producers and co-directors on the videos.

Stevie said: “They were amazing, they worked so hard and the results are there to see.”

The video for Yeah, Yeah is now featured on You Tube and the track is available to buy from i-Tunes.

Harvey and Peter’s two other videos with Stevie – Wild Trash and 2nd Class Citizen – will be released in the new year,

Harvey told the Selby Times: “Making the film was very interesting. It was great to se how things work and Stevie was fantastic – he really showed us the ropes.

“It’s the first promotional video we’ve ever done, so it was something completely different for us – I hope we’ll be doing more in the future.”

Stevie ZeSuicide is soon going to India to star in a Bollywood movie in which he plays a punk gangster, On his return he has planned to do more filming in Selby with Harvey and Peter.
