Car crash on motorway

GOOLE and Snaith fire crews attended a car crash on the M62 motorway near Rawcliffe which involved a pregnant woman.
A grey Citroen Saxo hit the central reservation barrier on the eastbound carriageway between junctions 34-35 at about 5pm on Monday.

Humberside Police, firefighters and ambulance crew attended the scene but the pregnant woman self released. She suffered minor whiplash injuries but did not need to attend hospital.

A police spokesman added: "There were traffic delays up to junction 34 for a short while and about 300 metres before the incident a blue Vauxhall Corsa also collided with the central reservation barrier.

"It wasn't related and the driver didn't suffer any injuries."
