EASTRINGTON Parish Council has a vacancy.
A by-election to fill the post will be held if ten electors of the parish write to the chief executive of East Riding of Yorkshire Council May 27 claiming one.
If this isn't received, the vacancy can be filled by co-option, which means that existing members can elect a new colleague from those who have already expressed an interest in joining.
For more information about the role, contact Deborah Sedman, ERYC's senior electoral assistant on 01482 393311; or parish council clerk Mrs Gill Askem, The Gate Inn, Old Trough Lane, Hive, Brough, HU15 2XR.
