YOUNGSTERS from The Hinge centre in Goole enjoyed learning how to cook Chinese food recently.
Cooking instructor Tina Wyatt attended the Carlisle Street facility to help teach service users how to cook independently in an event backed by Co-operative Travel who provided the decorations and food.

Becky Challenger, youth and social inclusion support worker, said: "The day started with a two-hour oriental cookery demonstration which the young people took part in.

"We also had the place decorated in an oriental style with balloons, dragons and lanterns, as well as Chinese china.

"It was based around our social inclusion project we do to improve individual living skills and decided on this as something different."
