Gardeners prepare to open their gates for annual event

SNAITH NSPCC branch are holding their annual open gardens event on July 13.
Various gardens in East and West Cowick will be open between 1 to 6pm.

Snaith and Cowick Town clerk, Cath Hird said: “It will be starting at West Cowick Institute where you pay your entrance fee and pick up a map.

“We have got several people to open their gardens and people can go and look around them.”

She added: “There will also be refreshments, a tombola, raffle and plant stall.”

The local NSPCC branch are donating all of the proceeds from the day to the childrens centre in Doncaster.
