Le Mans winner visits school

MOTOR racing expert Guy Smith visited Eastrington Primary School last week to tell pupils all about his successful career.
The Beverley-born driver has competed in various levels of motorsport, and started racing karts in 1987. In 1992 he moved into car racing, winning the British Formula Renault Championship in 1995 and tested a Williams Formula 1 car. He currently races for Dyson Racing in the American Le Mans Series driving a Porsche RS Spyder with Chris Dyson. He is pictured at the school with headteacher Chris Bullough and Jonah Farrow (7).
