Plenty to do for youngsters

A SERIES of activities have been organised for Snaith Youth Club members in the run up to the summer school holidays.
The club meets twice a week at The Snaith School, Mondays 6-8pm and Thursday 7-9pm, and is open to anyone aged nie-years-old and over.

Previous sessions have included a visit by the police to carry out bike post coding; pool knockout; managing money workshop; visit by the Connexions bus for information on careers; a junk competition; and party night.

The itinerary of event which runs until July before closing until September is as follows: July 3 - TBA; July 7 - cards; July 10 - fire service; July 14 - TBA; July 17 - TBA; July 21 - party night.

Youth worker Pat Fern told the Courier: "Admission is just 50p per session and at the moment we have between 30 and 40 youngsters attending regularly."
