PUB regulars at The Plough Inn in Snaith helped donate over £100 to benefit the community.
Over the past year it has had a collection bottle on the bar and encouraged its customers to place their loose change inside.
As a result Martin Higgs recently presented a cheque of £130.44 to the Snaith Community Sports Field Association on behalf of the pub regulars.
The money will be used to obtain kitchen equipment for their new pavilion, once it is built.
Treasurer Danny Hennessy said: "May I through your newspaper pass on our sincere thanks for the continued support given to our organisation by Chris and Paul at the Plough Inn in Snaith.
"They are also intending to run a second 24-hours sponsored Darts Marathon starting at 6pm on Friday July 11 with the proceeds to be donated to our association.
"The Trustees and committee of the above are extremely grateful for the generosity shown by the Plough Inn regulars and can not express our thanks enough."
