STUDENTS undertaking a new construction course at Vermuyden School were given a guided tour of the town's £2.3 million arts and civic centre recently.
Houltons and Goole Town Council invited young people from the school who are starting the new course in September to take a look around the Junction, which is nearing completion at Wesley Place.

GTC's Nicola Dixon said: "They thoroughly enjoyed the tour of Junction the new arts and community facility for Goole, and had lots of interesting questions.

"Ideas are already underway for a partnership project with Houltons and Goole Town Council.

"The young people will be returning to site in September to keep abreast with progress on site."

Chris Carline from Houltons added: "The students were really enthusiastic and I'm pleased to be able to help young people with an interest in the construction industry."
