30 year success

The team at Link Agency, the Goole-based specialist residential letting agency, is celebrating 30 years of success this month.
Link Agency was established in January 1983 and remains the only specialist letting agency in the town. Last year it opened a second office in Market Place, Hull, reflecting the growth and development that has taken place under current owners Phil and Suzanne Jones, a husband-and-wife team from Howden who bought the business in 2003.
Phil and Suzanne employ a team of ten people at their offices in Goole and Hull. The team has a wealth of experience of the East Yorkshire property letting marketing gathered over many years; many members of the team have worked for Link Agency since Phil and Suzanne first took over.
To mark the 30th Birthday of the business, Phil and Suzanne are treating the entire team to an overnight stay in London and a celebratory meal at a top Kensington restaurant later this month.
Phil Jones, director, said: “We’re really proud that the business is going from strength to strength 30 years on from its launch. Since we took over in 2003, our Pasture Road office has consolidated its position as the market leader in Goole, Howden and the surrounding area. We have a great relationship with tenants and landlords alike, and are known for the quality of the residential properties on our books.
“Taking a first step into the Hull market was huge for us, but it’s already paying off. We’re really pleased with the way things have been going since our office in Market Place opened last year.
“The business is growing quickly as we secure a bigger share of the residential letting market in Hull and the surrounding area. I’m sure that the strength of our reputation in the Goole area has helped us to make an impact in Hull quickly.”
Suzanne, also a director, added: “We have an amazing team of loyal, dedicated and hard working staff and we wouldn’t have been able to grow and develop the business in the way that we have without them. That’s why we wanted to reward their efforts with the trip to London, which we felt was a nice way to mark the 30-year anniversary.”
Phil added: “With busy branches on both sides of East Yorkshire, the future is looking extremely bright for Link Agency. Here’s to the next 30 years!”.
