‘I LOVE Goole’ is celebrating its first anniversary this month and it seems townsfolk really do love Goole.

Hailing the loyalty card scheme as a great success was Renaissance Co-ordinator Leigh Johnson, she told the Courier this week: “The town’s first loyalty card has really taken off well.

“People really like what the scheme stands for and are promoting their own town while shopping too.

“I’d encourage more business to participate and more residents to pick up a free fob. The more support we give I Love Goole the more it will develop and grow. I’d like to see every business in Goole participating in the scheme.”

Launched on Valentine’s Day last year by Business in Goole, the loyalty scheme promotes discounts to shoppers through a membership key fob that gives access to special offers available from the businesses participating in the scheme.
