Cheers to Ken

A BEER festival in memory of a much-loved regular at a pub in Osgodby is taking place this weekend.

The Ken Snell Beer Festival – complete with 10 real ales – swings into action tomorrow (Friday) at The Wadkin Arms.

It is in honour of Ken Snell, who died from cancer earlier this year, aged 49, and will become an annual event in his memory. Proceeds are going to Cancer Research UK. It starts at 11am tomorrow and is also on Saturday (11am-12midnight) and Sunday (11am-11pm), with entertainment on Sunday from 6pm until 9pm.
