Haunting habit!

A SPOOKY ‘orb’ appeared on a photo taken inside Selby Abbey much to the surprise of a keen West Haddlesey photographer.

Paranormal enthusiast Andy Millard and his son Shaun, 17, were taking a look around the town’s medieval centrepiece and took a number of photographs.

When they got home, they were amazed to discover a blue-tinged circle (right), which Andy believes is as an orb and is linked by professional ghost hunters to the presence of some kind of spirit.

Andy said: “I must have taken thousands of images over the years and I’ve never seen anything like this before.

“I know it sounds crazy but I don’t know what else it can be. There was no dust on the camera and all the other images were completely clear so it can’t be anything on the lens.”

As a keen fan of programmes like Most Haunted, Andy is keen to know whether anyone else has spotted anything similar at the Abbey.
