Plans for out of hours surgery

GOOLE Health Centre is hoping to extend its opening hours to incorporate an out of hours service.

East Riding Council planning officers are recommending approval of the plan when it is considered by the ERYC planning committee today.

The proposals, put forward by the Humber NHS Foundation Trust, would see a GP out of hours service operate from the site, in the grounds of Goole and District Hospital.

Officers say minimal disturbance would be created as the centre forms a buffer between houses and the car park.
