Action hero gets reward with two US movie hits
Eirian Cohen, from Sherburn in Elmet, has used her fitness to her advantage as she stars in two action packed movies by US company, Chemical Burn Entertainment.
AN action hero from Sherburn is making great strides in the US movie world with two films already in the can.
Eirian Cohen stars in US horror films, ‘Exorcist Chronicles’ and ‘Dead Walkers –Rise of the 4th Reich’.
Local personal trainer and founder of Fun Fitness UK has used her skills to star in two action packed movies by US company, Chemical Burn Entertainment.
Eirian, 30, is currently in training for other upcoming films (details of which cannot be disclosed at present) at York Martial Arts Centre, as well as being in serious training for a gruelling 12-mile obstacle course, Tough Mudder, that she will be completing for charity ‘Help for Heroes’ in September along with ‘Dead Walkers – Rise of the 4th Reich’ co-stars Nikki Webster, Jane Haslehurst and Tom Vardy.
She said: “I love a challenge. When I was asked to participate in this crazy obstacle course that involved fire, heights, freezing water and electric shocks I thought, what the hell? It’s just like what we do in filming for Gardiner’s movies and it’s for a good cause. Bring it on!”
Eirian, who trained at SLP College of Performing Arts in Garforth has now signed to the Awesome Talent Agency and has several big films in the pipeline, along with a lot of media work.
She added: “It was a rocky road but I refused to give up. Things are looking up.”
