Appeal to trace witness to Goole road traffic collision

POLICE are keen to locate a possible witness to a road traffic collision that happened on Sunday December 9, shortly before 7.45pm on Broadway in Goole.

The witness, a woman, rang the police on 999 after a silver coloured Vauxhall Corsa crashed close to her house.

It was reported that a man, believed to be the driver, appeared to be in drink and when officers attended the scene a 42-year-old Goole man was arrested for driving whilst over the prescribed alcohol limit.

He has since been charged with drink driving and has been bailed to appear at Beverley Magistrates Court on January, 2013.

Officers would like to trace the woman who contacted the police and ask for her to make contact on the non emergency number 101 referring to log 646 of Sunday December 9, 2012.
