Selby Chamber kicked off the first night of their new season with a hugely successful launch party.
Held at the Owl Hotel in Hambleton, the Chamber relaunched in style with a special speaker adressing a good turnout, and the feedback received made it hugely worthwhile according to marketing and promotions officer Steve Swift.
He said: “It was our first meeting of the year and we’ve had a complete restructure since last time.
“We had new agendas up for discussion and we discussed numerous future events for businesses in the Selby area.
“There was also a guest speaker (Lyn Roberts) from HMRC and the turnout was very interested in what she had to say.
“All in all it was really positive and it bodes well for the future.”
The evening also presented an opportunity to showcase the new loyalty scheme that the Chamber have created.
The scheme will allow members to gain benefits whilst looking to promote new members through an increased presence in the marketing aspect.
Steve added: “We’re ramping up the loyalty scheme and trying to get out to as many people and traders as possible.
“People have said to us they are renewing and that’s exactly what we want to hear. That speaks volumes for this relaunch.”
