Breaking news – Goole biker lies by roadside for 48 hours following collision

A GOOLE man lay undiscovered by the roadside for two days after colliding with a signpost in Thorne The incident occurred at around 8am last Wednesday, as he was riding his black Kawasaki ZX6R along the A614 Selby Road in Thorne, towards Rawcliffe.

It is believed the motorcyclist collided with a metal signpost on the off-side of the carriageway and then travelled approximately 200 metres further along the carriageway before coming to rest in a ditch.

The motorcyclist hidden from view was at the scene for 48 hours before being found on September 14.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with information that could assist officers is asked to call South Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 438 of September 14.
