Bus forum for all to attend
BUS users in Goole are being urged to attend a meeting designed to get them on route to a better service.
The Goole Bus Forum will be held on Thursday March 18 at Goole's new civic and arts centre Junction, in Wesley Square, starting at 6.30pm.
Passengers are invited to raise related issues with transport operators and officials from East Riding Council and discover improvements to services.
"The Goole Bus Forum brings together bus users, operators and East Riding of Yorkshire Council to improve the quality of the local bus network," said Community Environment Officer Adam Fowler of The City of Hull Environment Forum.
"Come along and make your comments and suggestions," he added.
The event is organised and chaired by The City of Hull & Humber Environment Forum (CHEF) - a local charity that specialises in public transport consultation.
CHEF also organises regular Bus Forums in Bridlington and Hull.
Next month, East Yorkshire Motor Services take over the running of the popular Goole Town Service from First.
