Businesses urged to bid for growth fund
YORKSHIRE businesses, including those in Selby, are invited to make bids for part of a £26 million fund to re-start stalled projects and help kick-start the economy.
On Tuesday the Leeds City Region Local Enterprise Partnership opened the second round of its Growing Places Fund, launched at the inaugural Base Leeds City Region event hosted by the University of Bradford.
With the economy showing few signs of recovery, the loan fund is an opportunity for a cash injection that will help firms realise their ambitions.
Businesses of any size, can now submit expressions of interest for loans of between £250,000 and £5 million. Submissions can be made for this until November 1.
Loans from the Growing Places Fund are intended to kick start these projects.
More information about the Growing Places Fund, the application process and contact details can be found at www.leedscityregion.gov.uk website.
