Cars end up in dykes in Monk Fryston after collision

TWO cars ended up in dykes on opposite sides of the road following a three car collision in Monk Fryston today (Wednesday January 16).
The collision on Selby Road near Breckswood, between a blue Ford Galaxy, silver BMW 523i and a grey VW Polo, happened at about 2pm. Only minor injuries were sustained, but a woman driver involved complained of her left hand side hurting.
Police said debris from the cars was strewn across the carriageway and traffic was backed up along the road. The BMW was on its side in a dyke on one side of the road and the Ford Galaxy remained upright, but came to rest in a dyke on the opposite side of the road.
The police are also investigating an altercation between two of the drivers. Anyone with information is asked to call North Yorkshire Police on 101 call up option two and ask to speak to Andrew Morton, or send information to morton@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk email.
