Chatatots is talk of town
A THRIVING playgroup in Chapel Haddlesey is on the up and up after tripling child numbers in less than a month, under new ownership.
Helen Westmoreland took over the running of Chatatots on September 6 and has ensured it has gone from strength to strength.
A delighted Helen said: “It is early days in me running it but we hope to make it a really fun playgroup with different activities each session so the children don’t get bored or expect the same thing each time.
“The group is a lovely friendly playgroup and we look forward to welcoming more mums, dads and tots. We currently have approximately 15 children attend with their parents, with more hoping to visit us.”
Among the activities at Chatatots, which is held at Chapel Haddlesey Village Hall (see page 14), are bouncy castle, toys, artwork, and story and song time. Children’s birthdays are also celebrated, and Santa visits at Christmas.
Helen also extended a massive thank you to the Jug Inn at Chapel Haddlesey.
She said: “We have had some fantastic support from the Jug Inn, who have provided us with free refreshments for the group, not to mention the amazing signage and T-shirts they have created.
“I can’t say how fantastic their contribution and support has been.”
Helen also thanked mums including Rebecca Mccluskey, Vanessa Taperall and Jillaine Watson for their continued support and help at the playgroup.
