Drugs and theft warrant executed in Goole

POLICE executed a drugs and theft warrant at an address on Boothferry Road in Goole.

The warrant, which was executed on Friday, January 18, resulted in the recovery of a number of items which included eight bicycles which are believed to have been stolen.

A man was arrested at the property and another man later handed himself into police. Both men have been released on bail pending further enquiries.

PC Lonsdale from Goole’s proactive neighbourhood policing team said: “This warrant was one of many which the neighbourhood team have completed in Goole.

“The warrants have all been intelligence lead. I would urge the public to assist us by providing information of any criminal related activity.

“All such activities have a negative impact on the local community and we rely on the public for information to assist us in apprehending perpetrators.”
