Exclusive – Garage garden gripe

A ROW has broken out between Selby District Council and one of its senior members over a stalled development project in town.

Coun Steve Shaw-Wright, leader of the authority’s opposition Labour group, has been querying the council over the creation of a community garden on the site of the former filling station on Ousegate – a decision SDC announced in 2010.

However, no work has been carried out on the site as yet.
