A SPARKLING Christmas craft fair at Selby Town Hall has been hailed a huge success.

Town clerk Karen Mann said the Town Hall looked very festive at the fair held two weeks ago and many came along to buy Christmas gifts.

Markets manager Gill Bell added: “This is the second craft fair held at the Town Hall and it was as popular as the last, we hope to have craft fairs in the Town Hall in the future.”

Coun Shaw-Wright further added: “It is wonderful to open up the splendid Town Hall to craft fairs and to encourage people to come along and see what is on offer. We will certainly be putting further craft fairs on in 2013.”
