Gutted by fire in Carlton

Two fire crews from Selby attended the blaze at Bridge Farm at 12.55pm on Monday, December 10, and said they were not treating it as suspicious.

When they arrived the vehicle was well ablaze and they used three hose reel jets and two breathing apparatus to bring the fire under control.

A fire service spokesman said the fire was caused by an electrical fault and added: “There was 100 percent fire damage to the driver’s compartment.”
