Selby Hands of Hope are still on the lookout for any volunteers that can assist with their biggest project to date.
‘Project Hope 2013’ which will revamp the Thorpe Willoughby Childcare Centre, has already been supplied with help from local companies including Travis Perkins, IT electricals, MKM building supplies and Paul Simpsons builders.
The Selby Times-backed charity is now asking further volunteers to come forward, especially those available to help with outside work such as re-planting.
To help with donations or volunteering rind Wendy Singh on 01757 213711.
* Meanwhile, SHOH are appealing for any snare drummers to help with the procession at the much-anticipated family fun day this summer.
June 2 sees the soiree coincide with the Queen’s coronation, and the charity is on the lookout for any groups wanting to take part in the procession.
Contact Wendy by phone or email wendy@selbyhandsofhope.org.uk
It has also been announced that local band ‘Premonition’ will be playing on the day, as part of the numerous celebrations planned.
