Horse thief jailed after admitting crime in Carlton area

A 43-YEAR-old woman has been jailed today (Tuesday) for 12 months for theft of a horse from a woman in the Carlton area and for fraud by false representation.

Deborah Louise Cooper of Broomfleet, near Goole, appeared at York Crown Court for sentencing after having pleaded guilty to the two offences on February 15.
