Yorkshire Cancer Research Tree of Light Registration Form.

FAMILIES who have lost a loved one are invited to light up a life to raise vital funds for Yorkshire Cancer Research on December 4 with the Selby Times supported Tree of Light event.

In the 13th year of the initiative, also supported by Selby Town Council, money will again be raised by sponsoring a light on a Christmas tree placed outside Selby Town Hall.

All proceeds will go to the cancer charity, which in the previous seven years has raised more than £1,000 each time. On Saturday December 1 at 4.30pm shortly after the Selby town Christmas lights have been switched on and a choir from Selby Abbey Primary School has performed a carol concert at about 4pm the tree will be lit.
