Man arrested for going equipped for burglary in Camblesforth

A MAN from West Yorkshire has been arrested on suspicion of going equipped for burglary at Camblesforth, near Selby.

The incident, which occurred at about 2.30am on Monday 18 February 2013, involved two men who were disturbed by a homeowner while allegedly trying to break into a house at The Gardens.

Selby Police were alerted at 2.46am and, following an area search, officers arrested a 29-year-old suspect at 3.30am. The man, who is from the Pontefract area, is being questioned in custody.

Efforts remain ongoing to locate the second suspect.
