Man bailed after assault

A MAN was remanded on bail after assaulting a woman in Selby.

Dale Barrington, 27, of Brook Street in Selby attacked Rachel Liddle by beating her in Market Cross in town on May 7 this year. Barrington changed his original plea from not guilty at an earlier hearing, to guilty at his hearing on November 9.

He was remanded by Selby Magistrates on unconditional bail until November 30.
