Mechanic proves he's biggest loser
A MECHANIC has become Man Of The Year after losing two stone in 14 weeks.
John Hunt, a mechanic at KwikFit, has earned the title after his dramatic weight loss at his local Slimming World.
John, from Goole, who attends the weekly meetings on Boothferry Road with his wife Lisa, started at the beginning of February after deciding he wanted to lose weight.
He said: "I've had such tremendous support from all of my family and friends. At first the lads at work laughed and made comments about me joining because they just assumed it was for women only, but now I have their support after making such a transformation in just a short time."
John is now keeping up his active routine by playing outside with his two-year-old son George and being more active at work. Aside from this he is also keeping to the healthy Slimming World diets.
John said: "Although I am planning to join a gym in the future, at the moment I have just become a lot more active at work and by playing with George - any activity helps and it doesn't have to cost you a fortune. I've already lost a massive eight inches from my waist measurement."
