Motorists in Selby asked to be vigilant
CRIME: Crime scene.
MOTORISTS are being urged by police to be extra careful after two cases of possessions being taken from unattended motor vehicles.
Both occurred in Canal Road in Selby on February 13. On both occasions three men were seen to climb out of a silver Ford Mondeo in the area prior to each crime.
On the first occasion at 11pm the three men were seen going into the council depot on Canal Road by gaining access through a fence. They targeted a Mercedes van and took its catalytic convertor. Ten minutes later the three males took a catalytic convertor from a Mercedes Sprinter van.
