Noah toasts yet another top award!

Young Noah Banks is celebrating after receiving yet another special award.

Noah, from Eggborough, was awarded the Child of Achievement Award at the recent Minster FM local hero awards.

The success follows on from Noah’s recognition at the Selby Times Community Pride awards last year.

The York-based local radio station held its 11th Local Hero Awards in a glittering ceremony at York Racecourse last Friday night.

Dignitaries from across the region came to celebrate the achievements of local people.

Managing Director Bridget Davies said “The Local Hero Awards is one of the highlights of our calendar, rewarding local achievement and raising money for charity whilst enjoying a night of great entertainment.

“Judging the winners gets harder every year with some outstanding nominations.

“I would also like to thank all those in the business community who come forward and support our Local Hero Awards, they really help us make it a night to remember.”
