Police appeal after car damage in Selby

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a car was damaged in Selby.

Sometime between 3.15pm and 7pm on Thursday 31 January 2013 the roof and a side panel of a blue Citroen C3 was damaged while it was parked in the car park behind the park in Selby Town.

When the victim returned to her vehicle she found footprints across the roof.

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the damage being caused to contact them with information.

Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for PC Richard Wood or Selby police.
