Police appeal after thieves break into stable in Camblesforth
CRIME: Crime scene.
SELBY police are appealing for information following a burglary and theft near the town.
It occurred between 5pm and 9pm on Wednesday (February 13), when thieves broke into stables on Selby Road, Camblesforth.
The burglars stole a copper boiler with a built in header tank, which is approximately 36in tall and has a diameter of 18in. It is valued at around £250.
PC Julia Allen, of Selby Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I need to speak to anyone who has any information about this burglary and urge them to contact the police or Crimestoppers straight away.
“I am also keen to speak to anyone who may have been offered the tank for sale as scrap metal and ask them to make contact.”
