Police warning on 2-in-1 burglaries

POLICE have warned local people to watch out for thieves who break into houses to steal goods and the car.

It follows the arrest last week of two suspects near Selby and Doncaster in connection with a so-called 2-in-1 burglary in Carlton, where car keys are stolen and the thieves drive off in the victim’s car.

Both suspects have been released on bail while police enquiries continue.
