Rugby club theft in Selby

Police are still investigating a theft that occurred between 2.15pm and 3pm on Saturday March 16, in changing rooms at Selby Rugby Club.

The thieves stole wallets, money, jewellery including a gold chain and a gold wedding ring, as well as Apple and Samsung mobile phones.

PC Heather Wilkinson, of Selby Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you witnessed anyone acting in a suspicious manner in the area at the time of the theft I urge you to come forward and contact the police or Crimestoppers straight away.

“I also need to speak to anyone who may have been offered any of the stolen items and ask them to get in touch.”
