School pupils at a Sherburn primary have been getting the most out of sport whilst staying fit at the same time.

Youngsters at Athelstan Primary School are benefiting from sessions laid on by ‘Little Kickers’

The sessions involve numerous football-related activities such as heading skills and passing techniques.

Due to the recent cold snap some sessions went indoors but that didn’t deter any of the pupils as out pictures show.

The sessions usually culminate in a competitive match on the grass pitches with coaches from ‘Little Kickers’ overseeing a perfect end to another active day.
