A SATELLITE navigation system was among items stolen when a thief smashed their way into a camper van in Barlow.

The culprit broke a window and snatched a brown leather handbag which contained the sat-nav, a bank card, driving licence and a purse.

The Volkswagen vehicle was parked on Barlow Common Road when the theft happened at some point between 3pm and 4pm on October 3.

Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to call police on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
