Selby Times and Goole Courier photographer Tony Saxton was the one being snapped recently after he gave a talk on his career.
Tony was the guest speaker at the recent Burn Yorkshire Countrywoman’s association monthly meet-up, where he discussed amongst other subjects, how the industry has changed during his 26 years as a press photographer working for a whole host of titles across Yorkshire.
Tony said: “I basically told the story of how I got into photography and about my first ever job.
“I also explained how the newspaper industry has changed and how my photos are now used, such as the shift from black and white to digital.
“I’ve been lucky enough to meet quite a few celebrities along the way so sharing those stories was good and hopefully I provided an interesting evening for those who attended.”
Meanwhile, the association is on the lookout for new members.
Those interested should contact Beryl Phillipson on 01757 270210.
