Teenage boy assaulted in Selby
CRIME: Crime scene.
SELBY police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was assaulted in the town.
The victim, aged 13, was throwing snowballs against a wall in the alleyway between Abbey Walk and Finkle Street, with his friends, at around 5.30pm on Monday 21 January 2013, when he was approached by a man who punched him in the face.
The victim was uninjured in the incident
The man is described as white and aged in his 40s. He was wearing blue jeans and an orange fluorescent jacket.
Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them with information.
