Thieves foiled

The incident happened at Holray Place between 10.30am and 3.45pm on Friday, December 7.

Police say a thief or thieves smashed a patio window to gain access to the property. However, on entry the house alarm was activated and the thieves escaped empty handed.

A police spokesman said: “We always recommend fitting an alarm and on this occasion it scvared thieves off.” Anyone with information call 101.
