Unusual items stolen in Skipwith burglary
One of the unusual items stolen during a burglary in Skipwith.
SELBY police are appealing for information after an outbuilding was broken into at Skipwith Hall.
Some unusual and sentimental items were stolen during the burglary which occurred sometime overnight between Wednesday January 30 and Thursday January 31.
Amongst the items stolen were an African rug, a pair of children’s Apache Indian boots, a silk Japanese kimono, and a pair of ankle bracelets.
Officers have released images of the stolen items in an effort to trace them and have them returned.
Anyone who recognises the stolen items or witnessed any suspicious activity in Skipwith around the time of the incident, is urged to get in touch with the police or Crimestoppers with information.
