Vandals strike at historic hall
HOWDEN'S historic Shire Hall has been vandalised during a raid overnight Monday and Tuesday.
Police said graffiti was left on the walls after burglars stole six bottles of wine, damaged the cash register, and emptied fire extinguishers.
The hall in the Market Place, which belongs to the town and is the venue for many theatre and live music productions, was entered through an internal door.
Humberside Police would now like to speak to anyone who may have heard or seen anything between Monday at 6pm and Tuesday at 1.50am.
