Bowls club hold first whistle stop of year
AIRMYN Bowls Club held its first whistle stop of the year on Saturday.
A full 32 teams took part with the results as follows: 1. Alan Fielder of Airmyn, 2. Brian Vause of Memorial Gardens, 3. Alan Hobson of Airmyn, 4. Terry Dimbleby of Immingham.
Spokesman Chris Morris said: "The weather was super. We couldn't have picked a better day."
The event was sponsored by Kirby Builders of Airmyn.
The next whistle stop for the club is on Sunday July 6 with the first session beginning at 9.45am.
