GOOLE CC's 3rd XI restricted home side Burn to 113 for 9 on Saturday before finishing on 115 for 7.

For Burn, top scorers were G England (21) and D Miller (19).

Goole bowlers were Mark Hinchcliffe who took 4 for 16 off 12; Will O'Donnell 2 for 17 off 8; Danny Cooper 1 for 11 off 3; and

Ashton Nottingham 1 for 5 off 3.

In reply captain Chris Sugden and Danny Cooper managed 15 and 26 respectively before Will O'Donnell stepped up to top score with 32 not out.

Best bowling for the home side came from S Moses 2 for 24 off 12; D Montgomery 1 for 16 off 6; J Bingel 1 for 14 off 5; and

G England 1 for 20 off 5.

This weekend the thirds are at home on Sunday to Carlton.
