Rudge wins final match

GOOLE angler Barry Rudge won the final match of the Snaith Summer League Evening series last week.
He pole fished maggots and corn from peg 14 at West Cowick to bag a catch weighing in at 19-12-0 of carp and skimmers.
Kirk Rudge, from Goole, followed in second place with 16-7-0 and in third was Johny Marshal of Snaith with 14-15-0.
The August Bank Holliday open at West Cowick saw Nottingham-based Dave Clayton win with 27-1-0 of carp after pole fishing from peg 25.
Goole's Kirk Rudge was runner-up with 21-10-0 of silver fish from pege 4, fishing pole and maggots.

Snaith League - 1. Barry Rudge, Goole, 19-12-0; 2. Kirk Rudge, Goole, 16-7-0; 3. Johny Marshal, Snaith, 14-15-0; 4. Carl Smethirst, Pontefract, 12-15-0; 5. Steve Ellcock, Snaith, 12-14-0.
Bank Holiday Open - 1. Dave Clayton, Nottingham, 27-1-0; 2. Kirk Rudge, Goole, 21-10-0; 3. Neil Pitfield, Notts, 15-12-0; Andy Waters, Goole, 14-0-0; 4. Mathew Young, Market Weighton, 12-10-0; 5. Barry Rudge, Goole, 11-10-0.
